CREWE residents are being invited to come up with a name for their new local.

Hungry Horse are opening a new public house in Dunwoody Way, and the company want people to come up with a suitable title for the venue.

Former South Cheshire College student Matt Brown, who is now business unit director for Hungry Horse, said: “We are very excited about this addition to Hungry Horse and to be bringing our fun, great value and family friendly pub to the town.

“Construction is due to begin in August and the pub is due to open in March 2015, but right now we are inviting local residents to help the company choose a suitable locally-themed name for the new pub and restaurant.

“We want to ensure our name reflects the local area and has been chosen by its future customers.”

The pub will be located on Dunwoody Way on the land formerly occupied by Crewe Works.

The development will provide around 50 full and part-time jobs.

The person who comes up with the winning name will also get a £150 gift voucher to spend in the pub.

Suggestions should be emailed to Superhorse@Greeneking.co.uk with the reason it has been chosen.

Entries must be received by Friday, August 22, when the successful name will be chosen.

If more than one person suggests the same winning name then a winner will be chosen at random.
