Police hunt missing occupant of fire-gutted Crewe home

POLICE investigating a fire at a property in Maw Lane Crewe are trying to trace to the occupant, Lloyd Turner.

At 1.28am on Monday, September 1 2014, police were called to Brook House Farm in Maw Lane, to a report of a fire.

Firefighters extinguished the flames which gutted the property and a joint investigation with Cheshire Fire and Rescue is continuing to establish the cause.

DS Matt Ashton said: "Enquiries are continuing and as part of these enquiries we need to ensure that those who occupied the building are safe.

"We want to ensure that Lloyd is safe and well. So I would urge either Lloyd himself or anyone who has come into contact with Lloyd, or knows of his whereabouts to contact police on 101."

Lloyd is 50-years-old, black, 5ft 7ins tall and of medium build with dark brown hair.

Anyone with information should call Cheshire Police on 101 quoting incident number 50 of 1 September 2014.
