FUN-loving Richard Stack is transforming his home into a Halloween ‘House of Horrors’ to raise cash for Cancer Research UK.

The 52-year-old South Cheshire College employee is decking his front and back gardens with ghoulish creations, wicked witches and a mini-graveyard in support of the national charity.

He is inviting those that dare enter to a special Halloween party at his Crewe home on Friday, October 31 from 5pm.

Guests will be aghast at the spooky set which will feature cobwebs and spiders in the front garden and a ghostly boulevard in the rear garden.

Gravestones, witches, headless corpses, pumpkins, talking ghouls and skeletons will all create a chilling atmosphere.

Richard, a building services officer at South Cheshire College, enters into the Halloween spirit each year to raise money for different charities.

Richard and his partner James will be entering into the fright night fun by dressing up in spooky outfits for their party while Hocus Pocus videos will be projected onto the house.

Richard said: “James and I love Halloween and transforming the garden for one day and night only in the year.

“There is always a lot of interest in what we do and I’m really grateful to local businesses who have donated items and helped us to add the vital finishing touches to the garden.”

He added: “The house of horrors keeps growing and growing and there are lots of new additions and creations year after year.

“Hopefully, the money raised can help Cancer Research UK which is an excellent national charity.”

Friends and family attending the party will be asked to make donations towards the fundraising cause, while local companies and organisations are providing Richard with some of his scary props.
