CHILDREN at Starting Point Child Care Centre brought some early festive fun to South Cheshire College by staging their annual Christmas nativity play.
Children dressed up in a variety of different costumes and thrilled the audience with their 'Whoops-A-Daisy Angel' show.
The short, light-hearted production, which took place in the college’s Centre Stage Theatre, was a different take on the traditional Christmas story and was supported by parents and members of staff.
Starting Point Child Care Centre, which is based in purpose-built premises at the front of the main college campus, caters for children aged 0 to 5 years old.
Julie Jervis, Starting Point Child Care centre manager said: ”I’m an extremely proud nursery manager after that performance and the children all did wonderfully well.
“This was a great festive show for parents and all the children worked hard rehearsing in the run-up to the performance."
After the matinee show, parents were invited over to Starting Point for carol singing around the Christmas tree with mulled wine and mince pies.
Toddlers were also able to visit Santa Claus in 'Santa’s Grotto' during the festive gathering.
