STAFF at Crewe-based County Insurance have donated a host of toys to children staying at Leighton Hospital over the Christmas period.
Staff at the firm said they were delighted to get involved this year and donated more than 30 toys, books and games to the children on ward 16 and 17 at Leighton Hospital who are unfortunate enough to be in hospital over Christmas.
Claire Smith and Kelly Brown of County Insurance went along to the children’s ward and met the ward manager and a few of the play assistants to hand over the gifts.
Claire said: "We know Christmas time is expensive but people still spared a thought for the children who would not be spending this Christmas at home this year.
"County Insurance wish all the children a very Merry Christmas and a healthy and a Happy New Year."
