A LORRY carrying crates of the energy drink Red Bull has crashed on the M6 between junction 19 and 18 spilling thousands of cans across the road.
Motorists are being urged to avoid the area after the incident happened shortly after 12pm.
There is also slow moving traffic northbound on the M6 between J18/19 due to motorists slowing down to look. #keepmoving

One lane is currently closed but the North West Motorway Police said it expects the whole carriageway to be shut to begin the clear up.
