OFFICERS in Nantwich are appealing for witnesses following a serious assault in Nantwich in the early hours of Sunday morning.
The incident is believed to have occurred at approximately 1.45am on Sunday, February 8 outside Subway on Swine Market, Nantwich.
The offender is described as white man, with dark hair, of medium build with a Liverpool accent, and at the time of the incident he was wearing a t-shirt.
Det Con Brian Hulse, from Crewe CID, said: "This was an extremely serious assault which resulted in the victim, a 19-year-old man from Crewe, receiving a broken jaw, he is currently recovering from his injuries in hospital.
"I would like to appeal to anyone who was in the area at the time of the incident to contact Cheshire Police on 101 quoting incident number 113 of 8/2/2015."
