A TEENAGER suffered a broken jaw in a vicious attack outside Subway in Nantwich.

The incident is believed to have occurred at around 1.45am on Sunday, February 8, outside Subway on Swine Market, Nantwich.

A 19-year-old man from Crewe was subjected to a ‘serious assault’ from another man, who spoke with a Liverpool accent.

The victim is currently being treated in hospital after sustaining a broken jaw during the attack.

Police are now appealing for anybody with any information regarding the attack to come forward.

Det Const Brian Hulse, from Crewe CID, said: "This was an extremely serious assault which resulted in the victim, a 19-year-old man from Crewe, receiving a broken jaw.

“He is currently recovering from his injuries in hospital.

"I would like to appeal to anyone who was in the area at the time of the incident to contact Cheshire Police on 101 quoting incident number 113 of 8/2/2015."

The offender is described as white man, with dark hair and of medium build.

He spoke with a Liverpool accent and was wearing a t-shirt at the time of the attack.
