NANTWICH is gearing up to host the 19th Nantwich Jazz, Blues and Music Festival.

Nantwich Town Centre is set to come alive this Easter weekend as this popular festival expects to draw in tens of thousands to see the bill’s strongest line-up to date.

Thea Gilmore and her supporting band will open the show at the Civic Hall on Thursday, April 2 following her sellout success in 2014.

A spokesman for the Nantwich Jazz, Blues and Music Festival said: “Last year’s shows were completely sold out so we recommend early booking to avoid disappointment.

“Also included in the festival’s headliners are Connie Lush at the Crown Hotel on Good Friday and Claire Martin and the Montpellier Cello Quartet appearing at St Mary’s Church on Easter Monday.”

Andy Featherweather-Low and the Low Riders perform on Friday 3rd April and FM will rock the stage on Saturday, April 4.

Easter Sunday, April 5, will see a double bill from King Pleasure and the Biscuit Boys and the Stumble. The Blues Band will close the weekend on Monday, April 6.

Wristbands for the festival are now on sale and available to purchase online or direct from the Civic Hall.
