A NORTHWICH car dealership has held a celebration to mark 10 years of business in the town.

Staff at Oakmere Mazda in Northwich celebrated the dealership’s 10th anniversary as a Mazda dealer with a ceremony focused on the dealer’s strong links with the community.

To mark the occasion, Mazda UK’s aftersales director, David Wilson-Green made a visit to the Manchester Road showroom to present the family-owned business with a commemorative plaque to recognise the milestone.

Oakmere Mazda has supported the Cheshire Youth Orchestra for the past three years and sponsored the children’s, youth and adult teams of Northwich Rugby Club.

Last year, the Oakmere Mazda team also raised more than £2,000 at the BUPA Great Manchester 10K, with all proceeds going to the Christie Hospital in Manchester.

Mazda aftersales director David Wilson-Green said: “The Oakmere Motor Group has established a well-earned reputation as a first class dealership thanks to the hard work of the dedicated 12 person team who always strive to deliver the highest standards of service. Mazda is proud to be represented in Northwich by the Oakmere team, we wish them all the best for the future.

Jonathan Jarratt, managing director at Oakmere Mazda, said: "Everyone at Oakmere Mazda is proud to celebrate the anniversary of our association with the famous Japanese brand.

"We love representing Mazda as the cars are so exciting, capable and fun to drive, we’ve carried this spirit of fun into work we do with the community in and around Northwich."

Based on Manchester Road, the Mazda dealership is part of Oakmere Motor Group.
