SECRETS of how to create an abundant garden with minimal effort will be revealed in an evening with an expert held in Nantwich in May.
Horticulturist Bob Flowerdew, known to avid listeners of Gardeners' Question Time and followers of Gardeners' World, is offering gardeners both novice and expert the chance to pick up some tricks of the organic gardening world.
During his talk he will share his tips on 'no work gardening', explaining ways to reduce or eliminate unnecessary chores and grow more flowers, fruit and produce with much less work.
The event has been organised by Cheshire Wildlife Trust.
Tracey Gibson, the trust's membership development officer, said: "We’re really delighted to be hosting this evening with Bob Flowerdew – he’ll have plenty of wisdom to pass to beginners and experts alike.
"We’re also looking forward to hearing his tips on what people can do to make their gardens more wildlife friendly, something that is really important area for the trust.”
Born and bred in East Anglia, Bob is one of the country’s leading organic gardeners and broadcasters.
Along with numerous television and radio appearances, Bob is also a lecturer in horticulture and runs his own landscape consultancy. In addition, he’s written more than half a dozen gardening advice books on almost every aspect of gardening organically.
The evening takes place at 7.30pm at Nantwich Civic Centre.
