LEIGHTON Hospital Prostate Support Group returned to Nantwich Civic Hall to hold PSA testing for early detection of prostate cancer.
The group tested around 150 men at the session at the drop in session on Saturday, April 11.
The group puts on other similar events in the area during the year, in addition to their bi-monthly meetings in The Post Graduate Centre at Leighton Hospital.
Cllr, Arthur Moran, who has been promoting the event and who also took part in a test, said: “It was great to see such a good turn-out for the testing session.”
“All the men that turned up did so voluntarily and were fully aware that it is vital to detect prostate cancer at an early stage.”
