A 60-YEAR-OLD pedestrian is fighting for his life after he was hit by a car in Crewe.

The incident occurred at 8.42pm on Saturday, April 18 on Broad Street, Crewe.

A white Renault Megane was travelling north along Broad Street in the direction of the Cross Keys roundabout when it collided with a pedestrian in the road, near the junction of Hazel Grove.

The pedestrian, a 60-year-old local man, received multiple serious injuries and was taken to hospital where he remains in a critical but stable condition.

Police are appealing for witnesses following the serious road traffic collision.

Police would like to speak to anyone who witnessed the collision, or saw anything in the build-up to it.
