A SOLICITORS has chosen St Luke’s Cheshire Hospice as their chosen Charity of The Year for 2015/16.

Poole Alcock Solicitors, which have offices in Northwich, Alsager, Chester, Congleton, Crewe, Nantwich and Sandbach have chosen to focus their fundraising efforts on the vital Cheshire Hospice.

St Luke’s Cheshire Hospice costs around £7,500 a day to stay open and helps 3,000 people every year.

Anna Burns from Poole Alcock, said: “Poole Alcock is excited to be supporting St Luke’s Hospice this year.

“We fully appreciate the work that the hospice does for patients and their families in our local area. It is such a worthy cause and we intend to help them out wherever we can.”

The money raised will help support patient care and maintenance costs throughout the mid and South Cheshire area.

Mark Porter, corporate and community fundraiser for St Luke’s Hospice, said: “We would like to thank Poole Alcock for choosing St Luke’s as their chosen Charity of the year.

“As the charity relies heavily on its donation and fundraising effort we are so grateful for this support which enables us to continue our work and help people at such an important and difficult time.

“I look forward to working alongside Poole Alcock for the year.”
