MUSIC students from South Cheshire College are aiming to be top of the pops after releasing their first ever music video.

The track, titled All For You, has been produced by music, music technology and media students.

Erin Spruce, under the stage name De Clara, delivered the vocals for the love song before music editing was completed by students James Norman, Tom Dutton, Richard Burrows, Hannah Brown and Lydia O’Dowd.

Media students then demonstrated their filming and editing skills to create an MTV-style music video for the song, which was filmed in Llandudno, North Wales.

James said: “This has been a great team effort and a wonderful chance to see what goes into producing a music video from start to finish.”

Students are launching the hit on national free music download website Bandcamp and are hoping that music lovers take the song to their hearts.

The song has been launched under the SCC Records label, a specialist platform that students created last year to showcase new songs they have written and edited.

Music lecturer Paddy Leese said: “All For You is a fantastic music video which has brought together students from different music and media courses to create a professional music track.

“All the students have loved being a part of the project and the song is already receiving great online reviews.”
