A MASKED thief made off with a ‘large quantity’ of jewellery after smashing his way into a Crewe jewellers.
The incident occurred at around 3.30am on Sunday, July 12.
A man, who is described as white, with his face partially covered, forced his way into the shopping centre by smashing the window.
Once inside he smashed the window of a jewellers, stealing a large quantity of jewellery before fleeing.
Police are now appealing for witnesses following a burglary at the Market Centre in Crewe.
Anyone who saw anything suspicious in the area or who has any information is urged to contact PC Rob Burgess of Crewe LPU on 101, quoting incident 162 of 12 July 2015.
