A NURSERY in Crewe is celebrating being awarded a glowing Ofsted report.

Kids Planet Bridge Farm achieved ‘Outstanding in All Areas’ in its June 2015 Ofsted inspection.

The nursery, located on Sydney Road, features a large outdoor play area, and children have access to a variety of activities such as treasure hunts, obstacle courses and den making.

Children at the nursery are also encouraged to grow their own vegetables.

Each room in the nursery is divided by age groups, and designed to ensure that all the seven areas of development relating to the Early Years Foundation Stage are incorporated throughout.

The latest Ofsted report praised a number of areas within the nursery, in particular the quality of teaching from staff.

The report said: “The quality of teaching and learning is consistently outstanding. Staff have very high expectations of themselves and extremely high aspirations for all children.”

“Staff are well qualified, experienced and highly skilled. They have an excellent understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage and use this knowledge exceedingly well.

“Consequently, all children achieve the very best they possibly can in their learning and development.”

“The management team and staff have implemented routines that are highly effective. This promotes children’s emotional and social development and their independence exceedingly well.”

Kids Planet nurseries are located across the north west of England in Cheshire, Manchester and Oldham.

To date, their nurseries have achieved eight outstanding rating by Ofsted.

These include Widnes, Lymm, Prestwich, Sale, Hale, Warrington, Jeffrey’s Corner Dukinfield and Bridge Farm Crewe.

Crewe Clare Roberts, CEO of Kids Planet Group said: “I am so pleased that our Bridge Farm Crewe nursery has achieved outstanding by Ofsted.

“Zee and her team have worked very hard, with their commitment and dedication, they ensure the children receive the very best childcare possible.”
