The scheme will run for four days at Underwood West Primary School and Leighton Academy, Crewe.

The project was funded from a £5,000 donation that the charity received from John Dwyer’s Crime Prevention fund.

Additional funding was also received from two schools, Awards for All and Wulvern Housing Trust.

John Dwyer, the Police and Crime Commissioner for Cheshire, said: “Over the past three years my Crime prevention fund has helped to fund a number of projects such as the West End Project.

“I am a great supporter of projects such as this as they help to deter young people from becoming involved in criminal and anti-social activities.

“I look forward to visiting the team from On Your Marks during the summer holidays to see the project in action and engage with some of the young people taking part."
