A GALA concert night will bring the sound of the valleys to Nantwich Parish Church.

Tickets are on sale for the concert staged by St Luke’s Hospice and featuring the internationally acclaimed Rhos Orpheus Male Choir and Roberts Bakery Band.

The event, which takes place on September 5, is supported by Nantwich firms Barringtons Chartered Accountants, Bowcock Cuerden solicitors and Pure PR. Scrumptillious catering is providing the canapés while Rodney Densem Wines is filling glasses with fizz.

Hospice senior event organiser Catherine Moore said: “The gala concert is returning to Nantwich after a brilliant evening last year.

“We thank our supporters for making this possible and look forward to another truly atmospheric evening against the stunning backdrop of St. Mary’s.”

The event takes place on the Saturday of Nantwich Food Festival when the town will be buzzing with thousands of visitors.

Funds raised will go directly towards patient care at the hospice which cares for people from South Cheshire suffering from cancer and other life threatening illnesses.

The hospice offers treatment, care, advice and support to many seriously ill people and their families every year and need to raise £8,000 each day to keep their services free for local people.

Starting at 6pm, tickets for the gala concert are £15 per head and include canapés and a glass of fizz.
