STAFF from a Nantwich financial advice firm climbed to the summit of Mount Snowdon in aid of St Luke’s Cheshire Hospice.

The directors of Watts Commercial Finance along with staff members braved the wet weather to climb the Welsh mountain, raising £1,709.

The much-needed funds will go directly to St Luke’s to help them run the hospice and provide the care that many members of our community so desperately need.

A spokesman for Watts Commercial Finance said: “St Luke’s Hospice is a charity close to the company’s hearts, for this reason they were chosen as our nominated charity that receive a donation directly from our profit each month.

“Watts Commercial Finance have been proud sponsors of St Luke’s Cheshire Hospice for several years and hope to be able to run more events in the future for this great charity.

Mark Porter, corporate and community fundraiser for St Luke’s Hospice, said: “St Luke’s relies heavily on its donation and fundraising effort we are so grateful for this support which enables us to continue our work and help people at such an important and difficult time, Snowdon has made such an impact this year.”
