A CREWE healthcare provider is looking to expand their workforce after securing a key contract.

Baywater Healthcare will supply emergency oxygen cylinders to The LMC Buying Groups Federation, which provides products and services to 6,800 GP surgeries and dental practices across the UK.

The new contract will create further jobs at Baywater’s Crewe headquarters, where it currently employs 85 staff.

Adam Sullivan, chief executive of Baywater Healthcare, said: “This is a strategically important contract for us, helping us build links with thousands of GP and dental practices across the country.

“It also firmly associates us with the safe, reliable supply of oxygen and helps build the profile of our core homecare business.

“We’re also delighted to be able to expand our team with new positions to support the contract in Crewe.”

Baywater Healthcare is an independent, specialist provider of homecare services to patients with long term conditions.

The Crewe firm serves more than 27,000 patients and their families in the UK to help them maintain their mobility, independence and overall quality of life.

The healthcare provider offer a range of homecare services including CPAP support for sleep disorders, nebuliser therapy, home ventilation support and home oxygen therapy.

The emergency oxygen packages help GPs and dentists deliver immediate assistance in case of an emergency and give them peace of mind that they are prepared for emergency scenarios.

Comprising a portable medical oxygen cylinder, a mask and tubing, they are designed to provide a high flow of oxygen for use in resuscitation.

The packages show users how to quickly and easily administer lifesaving oxygen until further help arrives.

Practices can also rent a larger cylinder that lasts five times longer than the smaller portable device, while reducing the number of refills.
