TWO boxes of industrial size display fireworks have been stolen on bonfire night in Crewe.

Cheshire Police have issued an urgent warning concerning the theft of two boxes of industrial size display fireworks.

The fireworks, which are called ‘Ariel Bombs’, were stolen on Thursday, November 5, from a vehicle on Queens Park Gardens in Crewe.

Detective Andy Kent said "These very powerful fireworks pose a real threat to anyone who may have them in their possession. 

"If used, they have the potential to cause serious injury."

The Firework Display Team have offered a financial reward for the return of the fireworks to ensure that no harm can come to a member of the public.
