A PATIENT from Winsford has been airlifted to hospital.
The air ambulance landed on Oakland's School's field at around 11.30am today.
It is believed the patient was from the Over Estate.
Teaching staff from the school gathered in the school's car park as the air ambulance left the scene.
One member of staff told the Guardian that the patient was 'covered with sheets' when they entered the air ambulance.
