A MOTORIST had to be rescued after colliding with a building in Crewe.
Emergency services were called to an incident at Flag Lane just after 7am on Tuesday, January 12.
Two fire engines from Crewe attended the scene.
A spokesman for Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service said: “Firefighters were called to a road traffic collision involving a car and a building, with one person trapped.
“The crew released the casualty from the vehicle who was passed to the care of paramedics.
“The building sustained damage from the collision so a structural engineer was called and the building evacuated as a precaution.”
