CHILDREN will be able to watch the Vikings do battle with St Helens for free on Bank Holiday Monday when accompanied by an adult.

The Vikings will be looking to continue their flying start to the season when they welcome last year’s Grand Finalists to the Select Security Stadium on Easter Monday and the club is calling on the whole borough to get behind them by taking advantage of this special offer.

Adults may request unlimited junior tickets for this fixture as the Vikings hope to see the stands bouncing for this huge Easter clash.

Marketing director Brian O’Connor said: “As a club we continuously promote initiatives throughout our schools and community clubs to encourage youngsters to attend Viking’s home fixtures.

“As we face St Helens on Bank Holiday Monday we are excited to offer a package offering tremendous value to families in our borough who are looking for a fun day out.

“The outstanding discount offered to our current junior members, which is reflected in a saving of up to eight games free, allows us to deliver this single game initiative without compromising the value offered in the annual pass price tariff.”

2016 Full adult/concession Stronghold Members and adult/concession access pass holders may also take advantage of this offer by showing their season pass card at the Vikings Superstore or by quoting their member/reference number when using the ticket hotline.

Brian added: “We would also like to encourage our loyal supporters to bring along as many junior spectators to enjoy a live Super League game and one of the biggest derbies in rugby league.”

Tickets are available now from the Vikings Superstore located within Tesco Extra, Widnes, online and by calling the ticket hotline on 0151 495 2250.

Free junior tickets are available to individuals aged 16 and under and accompanied by an adult. Widnes Vikings would like to advise individuals who may look older than t16 to ensure that they bring ID as failure to provide this upon request would result in non entry to the stadium.
