HAYDOCK Park has announced a new look to ten Saturdays from April 24 through to September 25 for some of the finest days in British racing.

The 'Party in the Paddock' will see celebrity DJ’s playing a 90-minute set after the last race for all racegoers. No matter what ticket type you have, everyone is welcome to the Paddock.

So, whether you’re a seasoned racing fan or a racing novice, there will be something for everyone to enjoy this summer.

Haydock Park will still be bringing you some of the best racing fixtures in the country, from the Temple Stakes to the Rose of Lancaster Stakes and the Sprint Cup – but anchored in a setting that has new and improved restaurants, bars, entertainment and atmosphere.

Kicking off the 'TENSational Series' and the first fixture in the flat season is the season opener with Scott Mills live after the racing on Saturday, April 24.

The next Party in the Paddock will be on Saturday, May 7, with the Swinton Hurdle – a unique fixture with mixed flat and jump racing – followed by Johnny Vaughan.

The Temple Stakes, one of the best premium Saturday racing fixtures, comes to Haydock Park on Saturday, May 21, and Heart FM DJ Joel Ross will be heading up the Party in the Paddock.

The racecourse is also offering a free course tour for all racegoers ahead of one of the best days of flat racing.

Other performers lined up for Haydock’s TENSational Saturday’s include Vernon Kay at Sandy Lane Stakes Day, an Evening at the Races with The Corrs, the bet365 Old Newton Cup with Anton Powers and Jo Whiley will be live after the racing on the Betfred Rose of Lancaster Day.

Following a £500,000 investment, five bars and a new Kauto Star Restaurant have been refurbished to give a whole new experience to racegoers. There have been further developments to the Makerfield Lawn bar and a new Monkey Puzzle Tree Bar near the entrance hosting live music, summer cocktails and a relaxed atmosphere throughout a day of racing.

Jason Fildes, general manager of Haydock Park, said: “We have an amazing summer season ahead with our new series of TENSational Saturdays.

"We have invested greatly into providing a fantastic customer experience across all areas of the racecourse, including refurbished restaurants and bars, new traffic flow system for cars entering and exiting the site and a wide range entertainment package throughout the summer.

"We are really excited for Party in the Paddock, it is going to be a huge success with famous DJs keeping the party atmosphere going after racing on a summers’ evening.”
