CHESHIRE police are investigating the death of a young woman who passed away after taking drugs at a Crewe nightclub.
The 22-year-old woman suffered an adverse reaction after taking drugs, believed to be MDMA at The Box nightclub on Pedley Street.
Police received a call from staff at Leighton Hospital at around 1:50am today in relation the young woman being unconscious.
Tragically, the 22 year old later died.
The circumstances surrounding her death are now being investigated by Cheshire Constabulary.
DCS Serena Kennedy, from Cheshire Constabulary said: “Sadly, it is unlikely that the victim was the only person to have bought and taken drugs at this location last night.
“We would urge anybody who may have taken the drug to seek urgent medical attention.”
