MOTORISTS are facing heavy delays on the M6 following a three-vehicle collision this morning.
The North West Motorway Police tweeted at 10.24am that three lanes were blocked as a result of a road traffic collision.
They also confirmed traffic on the southbound was also affected due to a HGV in lane four. The police said there was ‘heavy traffic in the area’.
Three lanes running northbound and southbound on junction 21 of the M6 have now been reopened.
Lane four remains closed as emergency serviced try to recover the HGV.
