A MAN was found collapsed with serious injuries in the early hours of Sunday morning.

At approximately 1.30am on Sunday, June 26, a 20-year-old Crewe man, was found collapsed in Underwood Lane, Crewe, by a member of the public.

The man was taken to North Staffordshire Hospital and has since been discharged, but will require further treatment.

Police officers at Crewe Criminal Investigation Department (CID) are appealing to the public to come forward with any information regarding the incident.

Investigating Officer DC Liz Rankin said: “We are currently following a number of lines of enquiry in relation to the case.

“As part of my investigation I am keen to speak to anyone who was in the local area at the time of the incident, or anyone who may have information to assist in identifying those responsible.”
