A MISSING Crewe man has been found and taken to Leighton Hospital.

Robert Malkin, 36, of Claughton Avenue, was last seen leaving work in Nantwich on Monday, July 25, at 6pm.

Mr Malkin was discovered shortly before 12.30pm today in Tommys Lane, Crewe, by the Tesco Express.

A spokesman for Cheshire Police said: "He was found by officers.

"An ambulance was called and he was taken to Leighton Hospital."

Cheshire Police had earlier issued a public appeal to help trace Mr Malkin.

On Wednesday evening, Insp Jez Taylor, said: “We are growing concerned for Robert’s welfare, as are his family and I want to appeal directly to Robert to get in touch with police on 101 to let us know you are okay.

"Your family are worried about you and want to hear from you."
