DASHCAM footage from members of the public could reveal vital information about a jewellery shop robbery in Nantwich.

Just before 11.20am on Wednesday, July 27, raiders wearing balaclavas forced a hole in the window of a jewellery shop in Pillory Street, Nantwich.

The masked raiders stole a number of watches before fleeing in a vehicle.

Officers attended and carried out a number of enquiries at the scene and a search was made around the area.

A car, which had been set on fire, was found in Brine Road in Nantwich.

Police then identified and followed a van travelling along the M6.

Four men decamped from the van in the Staffordshire area and were arrested on suspicion of robbery.

Police investigating the jewellery shop robbery are now appealing to motorists for dashcam footage.
