RESIDENTS are encouraged to keep their eyes peeled for the A Team van on the streets of Crewe this week as Eze Talk enters the annual Gamma Ball Rally for charity.

For the third successive year, the Crewe telecommunications company is taking part in the rally which sees 35 teams take part in the three-day event, starting today.

Each team can spend a maximum of £500 on their vehicle and are required to dress the car up.

Since entering a garage in a secret location in Crewe, the car has been undertaking its transformation.

It has now been revealed as the A Team (or E Team!) complete with red stripe, speakers and red bumpers.

A video revealing the identity of this year’s entry by Eze Talk has been viewed over 2,000 times on Facebook in 24 hours.

Over the last two years, Eze Talk has helped raise £240,000 for the event’s two chosen charities, Action Through Enterprise and SpecialEffect.

Richard Bligh, Chief Operating Officer at Gamma, said: "We’re proud of the reputation the rally has built up across the channel.

“It's a great opportunity for our channel partners and sponsors to enjoy themselves while raising lots of money for two great charities - Action Through Enterprise and SpecialEffect. The money raised makes a huge difference to these charities."

Mike Taitt, CEO of Eze Talk said: “We are really excited about this year’s Gamma Ball Rally and are very much rising to the challenge.

“We’d like to thank our supply partner Gamma, for organizing such a fantastic and worthwhile event which is not only great fun but raises huge amounts of money for their special charities.”

Residents are being encouraged to keep their eyes peeled for the transformed A Team van.

If you should spot it, let us know on social media @eze_talk using the hashtag #EteamGBR and where you saw it, and be entered into a prize draw for chance to win a year’s free broadband.
