Queues trailing the accident
TWO lanes of the M6 are closed northbound between junctions 17 at Sandbach and 18 at Middlewich, due to a four-vehicle crash.
The crash occurred halfway between the junctions shortly at around 11am, initially closing all three lanes within the roadworks before one re-opened.
There are currently delays of around 40 minutes, stretching back to junction 16 at Crewe.
Delays are expected to remain in place into the afternoon.
