BOOTS manager Lindsey Nottage is jumping for joy following the success of a series of Children in Need fundraisers.

Lindsey is the manager at the Boots store at the Grand Junction Retail Park in Crewe, and she and assistant manager Claire Norman took part in a trampolining marathon to raise money for the nationwide charity event.

The sponsored event at Urban Air Cheshire Trampoline Park at Winsford saw staff from Boots branches in Crewe, Northwich and Winsford jump for an hour.

The trampolining marathon was one of a number of events staged by the Crewe branch over the past few weeks for Children in Need.

The store staged a skipping marathon and cake sales, and will be staging further cake sales this weekend, as well as a pyjama day and raffles in a bid to see their £800 fundraising total hit £1,000.

“The trampolining was really good fun, but very tiring, and I think that’s enough trampolining for this year!” said Lindsey.

Lindsey and Claire, who live in Nantwich, thanked their family, friends and colleagues for their sponsorship support.

British Gymnastics and Boots have teamed up to launch a Jump for Pudsey campaign to get people active as well as helping raise money to fund projects for disadvantaged children and young people around the UK.
