Woman suffered burns in Crewe flat fire
FIREFIGHTERS were called to a flat fire in Crewe in the early hours of the morning.
At 1.30am on Friday, December 16, crews were called to reports of a small fire in Golding Drive.
The fire was out when they arrived but there was a female casualty who had suffered ‘slight burns’.
She was given first aid by firefighters and an ambulance was called.
There were working smoke alarms in the flat which alerted the residents to the fire.
