A MAN wanted in connection with a sexual assault in Crewe.
Officers are appealing to the public help to trace the whereabouts of Stephen Christopher Taker, 35, of Wheelman Road, Crewe.
He is wanted in relation to an incident that took place at an address in Crewe on December 19, 2016.
Taker is described as a white, approximately 5ft 6 inches tall, of heavy build, with short ginger hair and blue eyes.
Detective Chief Insp Gareth Lee said: “We are currently in the process of conducting an investigation in relation to a serious sexual assault that took place at a house in Crewe on December 19, 2016.
“As part of this investigation we are keen speak to Taker and I urge anyone with any information in relation to his whereabouts to contact the team here at Crewe.”
Anyone who sees Taker is advised not to approach him, but instead contact Cheshire Police immediately on 999 quoting incident number 0716393760.
