A horse, not this one pictured, has been found trotting along an A road in Nantwich
POLICE in Nantwich are urging the owner of a horse to come forward after it was found trotting along one of the town's A roads.
Cheshire Police tweeted on Sunday evening that the horse was on the A534 in Faddiley, near Nantwich.
The tweet said: "Officers have located loose horse on the A534, Faddiley nr Nantwich If you know who the horse belongs to please contact on 101 inc 715 12/02."
Replying to a fellow Twitter user the force's account added it was a 'large, brown horse'.
