ST LUKE’S Hospice is set to host another of its ‘An Audience with’ events featuring humanitarian and author Terry Waite CBE.
The former envoy to the Archbishop of Canterbury will talk about being kidnapped by Hezbollah in Beirut and being held captive for more than four-and-a-half years.
The event, held on Thursday, April 6, at Crewe Hall, will see Terry interviewed by BBC broadcast journalist and presenter Annabel Tiffin.
Guests will also enjoy a two-course lunch and charity auction.
Catherine Moore, senior event fundraiser, said: “We are so delighted to be welcoming Terry Waite to speak at our lunch in April. Such an amazing man with such an amazing life; I’m sure everyone will be spellbound to hear his story.”
Tickets are priced at £40 each including lunch and the profits raised go directly towards patient care at the Hospice which cares for people from mid and south Cheshire suffering from cancer and other life-changing illnesses.
To book tickets please call the events team at St Luke’s on 01606 555 832 or visit stlukes-hospice.co.uk/terrywaite
