ARMED police who have been involved in a stand-off with a man with a crossbow in Weston for more than 48 hours have described the on-going incident as 'complex'.
Police cordoned off Kingsdown Close after being called to the address at 12.14pm on Thursday.
They are currently still negotiating with a man armed with crossbow.
Police tweeted today: "Police are still dealing with a complex incident at Kingsdown Close, Wychwood Park, Weston. We are working hard to bring this to a safe conclusion."
On Thursday police said they received a report of concern for the welfare of a man at an address in Kingsdown Close.
"Police are in attendance and are currently negotiating with the man who is in possession of a crossbow and is refusing to leave the house.
"As a precaution there is a cordon in place," a spokesman said
