FIREFIGHTERS helped to rescue three people who were stuck in a lift at Crewe railway station yesterday.
Cheshire Fire and Rescue was called out to the incident on May 26 after the lift on platform five had become stuck between floors.
One fire engine from Crewe attended the scene at 9.44am, and the crew assisted an engineer to open the lift.
