THREE fire engines, police and paramedics were sent to a bathroom fire in Wesley Place in Crewe yesterday.
Crews from Crewe and Nantwich were sent to the scene at around 5pm were a fire had broken out in the bathroom of a ground floor flat.
Firefighters wore breathing apparatus while they tackled the fire and two casualties were assessed by paramedics.
A spokesman for Cheshire Fire Service said: “There was a fire in the bathroom of a ground floor flat. Four firefighters wore breathing apparatus and gas and electric were isolated.
“The fire crews used two hose reels and a large fan to bring the fire under control.”
