A NANTWICH college is set to host an event aimed at boosting small and medium sized business across the county.

Reaseheath College will stage the business innovation showcase event on June 22, which aims to support the growth of SMEs from the Cheshire and Warrington area.

Providing expert advice on business development, alongside in-depth evidence of current rural research work and industry commissioned projects, the event will be delivered by graduates, research staff and technical specialists.

Specialising in agriculture, the UK’s leading land-based college has launched collaborative pilot studies and product trials which will also be exhibited at the event to help inspire other attendees.

Janet Nuzum, ERDF Business Advisor at Reaseheath College, commented, “Our business innovation showcase will provide vital information for SME businesses facing growth challenges or wanting support on maximising performance and profitability.

“It will offer the opportunity for companies of all shapes and sizes to learn from a selection of specially chosen speakers but also from other participants on our various growth programmes.

“We’re expecting the event to be really well supported. We’re confident it will provide all attending businesses with inspiration, practical advice and guidance to help them take their venture to the next level.”

For businesses based in Cheshire and Warrington, additional workshops and bespoke one-on-one training sessions through the Reaseheath ERDF Growth Programme may also be available.

The two-hour long event, will take place on Thursday 22nd June, 6pm to 8pm.
