MOTORISTS using the M6 and A500 have this morning been warned to expect delays after the M6 was closed southbound at junction 16.
Police and Highways Officers closed the road after an incident involving a pedestrian that happened shortly before 5.30am.
The road reopened shortly after 10am, at which stage queues stretched as far back as junction 18.
Heavy diversion traffic also impacted on surrounding routes.
