THE best and worst GP surgeries in Crewe and Nantwich have been revealed.
This year’s GP Patient Survey results have been released, with every practice in England ranked against each other for patient satisfaction.
Rope Green Medical Centre, in Crewe, is the best surgery in the two towns – with 90 per cent of patients rating their overall experience of the practice as good.
Haslington Surgery, in Crewe, was also above the national average of 85 per cent satisfaction – with 89 per cent of patients rating the surgery as good.
Meanwhile, Earnswood Medical Centre, in Crewe, is the worst in the two towns – with just 67 per cent of respondents rating it as good.
The practice was one of seven in Crewe and Nantwich to fall below the national average.
The GP Patient Survey is carried out by Ipsos MORI on behalf of NHS England, and evaluates each GP practice on patients’ experience of making appointments, waiting times, perceptions of care at appointments, practice opening hours, and out-of-hours services.
A total of 2,088 patients responded to the survey in the NHS South Cheshire CCG area, which includes Crewe and Nantwich, alongside Middlewich, Alsager, Audlem, Wrenbury and Sandbach.
The best practice in the area is The Surgery, in Wrenbury, with an impressive 98 per cent of patients rating their overall experience as good, while Earnswood Medical Centre is the lowest-ranked surgery in south Cheshire.

The Kiltearn Medical Centre, Nantwich – 76 per cent
Tudor Surgery, Nantwich – 74 per cent
Earnswood Medical Centre, Crewe – 67 per cent
