A DEVELOPER is set to build 150 new homes on 18.8 acres of land in Wistaston.
Bellway Homes is set to transform the site, in Wistaston Green Road, to help meet increased demand in the area.
The mixture of three, four and five-bedroom detached and semi-detached homes will be known as Kingfisher Reach, and feature open plan kitchens, contemporary bathrooms and master bedrooms with en suites.
As part of the development, Bellway will contribute £292,850 towards additional primary school places and £2,000 to help protect local wildlife, while also providing open space with a play area.
Jenny Bell, sales director at Bellway Homes, said: "We’re delighted to have acquired land in Wistaston and are looking forward to getting started on site.

Building is due to start on the site later this year, before being completed three years later.
