One fire engine attended the incident
A WHEELIE bin fire in West Avenue, which set light to the curtains of a nearby flat, is being investigated as arson.
One fire engine from Crewe attended the incident at 2.25am today, August 21, where firefighters tackled the bin fire using a hose reel.
The curtain fire, which had been sparked by the first fire, was already out as the crew arrived on the scene.
Firefighters believe the blaze was started deliberately, and anyone with information regarding the incident is asked to call police on 101, or contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
