FIREFIGHTERS believe a smouldering fire in Leighton Hospital yesterday was caused by a build up of cotton and fluff.
Two fire engines from Crewe were sent out to the hospital, in Middlewich Road, at 6.07pm.
The crew found a small, smouldering fire in the laundry room, and used a hose reel jet to tackle it.
