CREWE and District Military Vehicle Club will once again host a classic car show.

On September 23 and 24 the Crewe Heritage Centre will be filled with dozens of vintage, classic and modern day military vehicles for the Wheels of War show.

There will also be trade and memorabilia stands, as well as a George Forby ukulele band and vintage singer.

The weekend will raise funds for Help for Heroes.

Philip Podmore, one of the founders of CDMVC, said: “Since the first show in 2009 the event has attracted more and more people each years.

“We are thrilled to continue our support to the Help for Heroes charity.”

Tickets can be bought on the gate for £3.50 adults, £2 children and concessions, and a family ticket is £12.

There will also be the annual 1940s dance on the Saturday evening which aims to replicate a wartime atmosphere.

Tickets are still available for £12 per seat, including a meal, and can be bought by via 01270 256880, fb.com/wheelsofwar or cdmvc.co.uk.
