A 17-YEAR-OLD cyclist has suffered ‘serious’ injuries following a hit and run in Crewe.

The incident occurred on Wistaston Road at 8.36pm on Thursday 30 November.

The car, which collided with a cyclist, left the scene and police are eager to speak to the driver of the vehicle.

The car is described as a black Vauxhall Astra.

The 17-year-old cyclist suffered serious injuries and was taken to Royal Stoke Hospital.

Cheshire Police are now appealing for witnesses.

PC Paul Hill said: “We want to speak to the driver of the car which collided with the cyclist outside the Duke of Bridgewater pub.

“If anyone saw anything in that area, or a car matching the description in the area at the time please call police on 101.”
