CHESHIRE East’s best performing primary schools have been revealed after the government published this year's key stage two SATs results.
League tables published by the Department of Education today rank schools by the percentage of children in year 6 reaching the expected standard in reading, writing and maths.
The average across Cheshire East was 46 per cent. The average for all schools across England is 61 per cent
The highest performing school in Crewe is Beechwood Primary School and Nursery, which came 27th overall in the borough.
In Nantwich, the highest performing school is Acton Church of England Primary Academy, which came 3rd in the borough.
The top 10 performing primary schools in Crewe and Nantwich are:

2. Weaver Primary School: 87 per cent met expected standards
3. St Anne's Catholic Primary School: 81 per cent met expected standards

6. The Dingle Primary School: 74 per cent met expected standards
7. Pear Tree Primary School: 72 per cent met expected standards
8. The Berkeley Academy: 71 per cent met expected standards
9. Pebble Brook Primary School: 71 per cent met expected standards
10. Highfields Academy: 73 per cent met expected standards
11. Sound and District Primary School: 70 per cent met expected standards
